Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child actor soon after her move to the United States. In AT&T commercials on television, she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 until 2016 and into until 2020. She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also played an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub has also been the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the unaired television pilot New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. When she was just two, she immigrated together with her parents to U.S. to escape antisemitism. She settled in West Hollywood. Because of her family's financial difficulties and her own financial struggles, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she dropped out and got an GED. She went on to get an undergraduate degree in Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
